A Street Builders' focus is to provide the homeowner a finished product that meets with their total satisfaction. This is accomplished by taking extra time to fully understand the homeowner’s objectives, discuss the alternatives and then decide on a design and project scope that meets these objectives. Time spent on the front end, minimizes the chance for surprises and frustration during the project. To help with the design phase we can bring in architectural, design, engineering and/or supplier expertise to help the homeowner when considering options.

Once the project starts, we maintain constant communication to keep the homeowner informed of the job's status - completed, in-process and work that will be starting in the weeks ahead. The keys to a successful project, for both the homeowner and A Street Builders, are communication, communication, communication! The more clearly we communicate during all phases of the project, the more satisfactory the process and the outcome will be. The homeowner will deal directly with John throughout the entire project, minimizing the possibility of miscommunication—one big advantage of working with a smaller company!

A Street Builders, Inc. was founded by John Oetking. He graduated from the University of Iowa where he earned a B.S. degree in Industrial and Management Engineering. He also holds an M.B.A. in Finance. A Street Builders has been providing on-budget, top-quality results while paying close attention to the client and easing the hassle often associated with home remodeling projects. John holds NARI's (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) CR - Certified Remodeler and UDCP - Universal Design Certified Professional certifications.

John has been an active NARI Board member for many years and has been presented with several awards recognizing his dedication and efforts.
